So sine altering my graphics in game to the highest whilst taking photos for competitions or Facebook page or Journal on here, twice I have had the blue screen of death appear but it automatically reboots, I run it in start mode, run diagnostics for windows etc then re start in normal windows and all is well.
My graphics card card has been kept up to date and is more than compatible for running the sims 3. I only use my desktop for the sims and studying (using word documents) so I have decided to delete everything from my mods files and start again. I do run a lot of custom content but they were always a mess and I didn't put a testing folder for new content.
I am guessing I've had a couple of those mod files running but are broken (I noticed some of the poses weren't working in game, the horse or rider looked distorted)
I run the game through Origin and weekly select the 'repair game' option to iron out any issues.
Apologies for the long waffle but if any of you have any other tips I'd be grateful. Now to start the organising task of downloading files and putting the downloads from SLS for example into the correct folder!
