So...I don't really play ES Sims regularly due to bad experiences and a dislike for the attitudes/drama, but I did end up going over there to get a horse from someone. (Got permission from them to use it on other forums before hand, no worries) Originally it was an auction, lost the auction, and asked for an import to which they agreed. So...they did an import and it looks great BUT...after they sent it to me it seems like they have just ceased all contact and disappeared. They sent the custom marking, the sim file and nothing else. I'm missing a ton of other markings as well as sliders so the horse looks nothing like it should. I told them this and asked them politely if they could try to tell me what they used...and they wont respond to my message. Its been a week since I sent my last message with still no response, I know the person has been active, changed their avatar, posted in the forums so its not a case of they are not online. I know people are busy but they won't even give me a response/acknowledgement that their is an issue and I paid 25k for this horse which I can't even use now, (which was going to be a huge integral part of my stable and later breeding program)...Any advice on how I should proceed with this mess? I've tried finding markings and sliders myself but its hard to say what they used, and they release custom content to the community so it may not even be stuff thats for public use...

Oh gosh that's frustrating :/ I don't know who runs Equss Sims, if anyone does know, perhaps contacting them directly will help? Hope it's resolved soon for you

Thats where I'm unsure as to what to do, I have no idea who actually runs ES and if its a problem for them or if I'm supposed to contact other staff. The person that made the horse for me is one of the more popular/well known names on ES as well as being a staff member on the PR Comittee (I had hoped this would guarantee this mess didn't happen), and it seems like if you say anything even remotely negative about them you can get yourself in a lot of trouble, I want to do it a way that will cause the least amount of drama as possible and preferably not make the creator hate me. I just spent a ton of money on it and I just want the horse to look normal or I'd like my money back.

Hmm very disappointed with the getting into trouble thing. You're not causing an issue, you are simply asking for the files you have paid for. If they have been active like you say, then they could have the time to drop you a quick apology for the delay. Sorry I don't really know much about groups or other forums outside of EA. I have been added to a couple of Facebook pages but don't go on often :/ Hope someone on here can offer you some constructive advice

Idk if you've solved the problem yet but if you didn't About the contact thing, maybe you could use the Email adresse thats sends you a confirmation Email when you've been accepted to the forum? I know it sounds stupid but maybe it's worth the try??? I'm sorry I can't do more to help you

I just left the community for various reasons, but reading this made me sad You shouldn't be ignored for asking for possible links and sliders to ensure a horse shows up correctly, especially after shelling out a ton of money. I was actually on the PR team until just recently and I know a few of the other staff there did actively play their game so it could be any of them who made your import but if its one member in particular they're away on holiday for a few weeks, so that might explain why they aren't responding I would personally suggest messaging Julianna, she's one of the higher admins who is sort of in charge still and can make decisions, and mediate between you and the creator to find happy solution :3
