It happens in game too, but only when theres the sky in the background or when im in CAS. idk if you know what I mean LOL I checked my settings too but I doubt that's the problem, I didn't have this problem before I took a little break and I didn't change the settings since then In this pic you can see that it only happens where theres the sky in the background

If you have Island Paradise installed, try to play without.. or reset the sims folder as described here: sims3.crinrict.com/en/2011/06/tutorial-resetting-the-game-to-factory-settings-without-reinstalling.html

As I've gone in game today, taken sj pictures in one world and then gone into another world where my eventing horses are, taken the dr and xc pictures and then set my sj shots up and the same things happened! Though like you say its all were the sky is! Just strange how it wasn't like it yesterday but today it is!

If it doesn't work, nothing will haha
